Drivetrain is the Australian authorised distributor for Dana Spicer Driveline Components, Kovatera underground utility vehicles, Guascor Gas power generators, and many others.We have a permanent opportunity for a full-time Workshop Co-Ordinator to join the team at our Kalgoorlie facility.
The Workshop Co-Ordinator is responsible for providing leadership throughout the branch.This role will involve supervising and managing workshop staff in meeting the needs of Drivetrain, our customers, and our suppliers.
This will be achieved through ensuring a safe, efficient, and presentable workshop.Key Responsibilities:Achieve Sales and Gross Profit budgets for the workshop.Reduce and eliminate quality issues in workshop repairs.Manage and action Production Orders that relate to the workshop, SPK kits and Service Exchange units.Ensure the workshop completes jobs in accordance with National KPI strip and completion times.
Provide coaching, training and/or management to staff that do not meet these requirements.Utilise all members of the branch as necessary to maintain, manage and action WIP on a daily basis.Prepare reports including WIP reports and Technical Service reports.Prepare quotations in accordance with Drivetrain expectations.Actively contribute in Production Meetings in a positive manner.Form, nurture and maintain strong customer relationships.Identify and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.Review, inspect, approve, and take ownership of the quality of all work and services performed by the workshop.To be successful in this role, you will have the following:Mechanical Trade Qualification (Heavy Duty Plant preferred).Minimum 3 years' experience as Workshop Supervisor/Manager.Thorough knowledge of Drivetrain product types and industry segments.Strong interpersonal, written communication and oral communication skills.Ability to form effective working relationships with employees throughout Drivetrain.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Demonstrated experience in training, coaching and management of people.Sound time management skills.Minimum 3 years' experience in SAP.Strong experience in writing technical reports.Strong experience in cost and labour estimating, and preparation of quotations.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – predominantly Word and Excel.We are looking to fill this role IMMEDIATELY.
