We are currently recruiting for a Co-Packing Plannerrole based in Dandenong South. In this role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of promotional contract packing requirements for L'Oréal Australia. As a member of the co-pack planning team, this role also has higher responsibility to; lead the team in key processes, lead improvement projects, KPI reporting, represent the function in key forums and guide team by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
ABOUT THE JOB
1. Lead the co-packing planning process according to the targeted service level, costs, and inventory control standards, while following all required internal and external control requirements.
2. Manage the monthly/weekly/daily co-packing operational activities with the team.
3. Create and schedule the production plan and the components deliveries to the co-packers.
4. Communicate the production plan to the co-packers and follow its execution by managing purchase orders and deliveries between the co-packers/the distribution center (s)
5. Control stock levels at the co-packer’s site, including conducting monthly stock reconciliation and annual stock takes.
6. Analyze and report on co-packers’s performance (production, quality, stock levels) and ensure that they are following Loreal Group's requirements especially in terms of quality and traceability.
7. Lead and coordinate improvement projects with a focus on simplifying and automating process to drive productivity and remove complexity in the supply chain.
8. Lead the team in critical alignment meetings/forums such as supplier collaboration, operations collaboration, and key account supply chain meetings.
9. Compile, analyze and communicate kpi/operational reports to the business to provide visibility, and work with stakeholders to identify root causes to manage risks.
10. Educate the rest of the business on best practices and operating standards related to co-packing.
11. Work as part of a team with all stakeholders involved in the manufacturing and co-packing process favoring a spirit of mutual help and cooperation.
ABOUT YOU
12. SAP expertise in relation of physical distribution & materials management is strongly preferred.
13. Solid understanding of supply chain’s physical, informational, and financial flows.
14. Strong understanding of customer expectations and demonstrated high level of customer service.
15. Experience working with co-packers or external third-party suppliers is strongly preferred.
16. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, business, or related field is strongly preferred.
17. At least years' experience in supply chain planning function such as production, supply or demand planning or operations management function is strongly preferred.
18. Detail oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational skills (multi-tasking).
19. Demonstrated project coordination and management skills.
20. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations.
21. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
