Hollard's unrelenting focus on diversity and inclusion, collaborative partnerships, and delivering great customer outcomes is at the heart of its business model, driven by its purpose of "Using our expertise, integrity and humanity to go further, together".Your Role You will support the pricing of general insurance products using data analytics, statistical modelling, and in-depth knowledge of our products, customers, and partners to maintain a sustainable, profitable, growing business.Your duties and responsibilities Manage, interpret, and analyse internal and external data sources to establish prices for general insurance products.Develop, maintain and apply models utilising GLMs, machine learning and other techniques for claims, conversion and other modelling.Derive insights from models and analysis to recommend pricing and business actions to a variety of stakeholders.Implement pricing changes and quantify expected impacts on the portfolio.Develop and maintain pricing infrastructure and processes for effective and efficient delivery of analysis, insights, and implementation of prices. Your knowledge and experience Experience in statistical, data programming and visualisation tools, such as Python, SQL, R, SAS and Tableau.Experience in developing statistical models using GLMs. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.Experience with the Australian general insurance industry and products is desired.Degree qualified in mathematics, actuarial studies, statistics, or similar quantitative disciplines is essential.Working at Hollard At Hollard you will be part of a supportive, valued and committed team.
