Brady Bunch Early Learning Centre is an established Early Education and Care Service situated in Strathfieldsaye, Bendigo.
We are currently seeking a motivated, passionate and experienced Centre Assistant Director (2IC) to come on board and help manage the service moving forward. The role would suit an EXPERIENCED Assistant Director looking for a new challenge.
The successful applicant will lead with experience, dedication, commitment, and professionalism. You will have onsite ongoing support from an experienced management team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enhance the performance of the centre through proactive management of key financials including occupancy, rostering, collection of fees, marketing, wages, and general administration duties.
2. Develop and maintain partnerships with the local community.
3. Develop and maintain the centre Quality Improvement Plan.
4. Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills.
5. Possess strong written and verbal skills.
6. A strong sense of responsibility and a high level of professional ethics.
7. An analytical nature and the ability to overcome challenges and solve problems in a proactive and productive manner.
8. The ability to demonstrate initiative while working within a team environment.
9. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
10. A recognised qualification of a Diploma as recognised by ACECQA.
11. Strong commitment to a high level of professionalism, integrity, and leadership.
12. Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
13. Good working knowledge of policy and procedural implementation.
14. The ability to warmly and professionally communicate with children and their families.
15. Be reflective as a leader and undertake professional conversations with colleagues that promote an open and transparent work culture.
16. Demonstrated high social and emotional intelligence.
17. Willingness to involve and engage within the community.
18. Exceptional knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Regulations, and the National Quality Framework.
19. A current Working With Children's Check.
20. First Aid qualifications including anaphylaxis and asthma management training.
21. Child Protection Training.
22. Red Nose (SIDS) Training.
23. An excellent understanding of curriculum design with a contemporary approach using an Emergent Curriculum style.
24. Previous experience assistant managing an Early Years Service.
25. Express a genuine passion or interest in children's early education.
26. Experience using Qikkids software is advantageous but not essential.
