Weir Minerals, a global leader in innovative engineering solutions, is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Regional HPGR Process Engineer to take ownership for the regional Enduron HPGR Technology adoption in both Greenfield and Brownfield projects in addition to developing new opportunities in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design comminution flowsheets to obtain relevant operational parameters to gain understanding of the processing plant both by plant audits and data review.
* Prepare design calculations and documentation and development to replicate existing modelling baseline using plant modelling software (Aggflow, JKSim, IES)
* Develop optimised model including HPGR
* Demonstrate operational savings (reduced energy, increase throughput, lower grinding media consumption) and develop cost of ownership model
* Develop HPGR test work including the design, preparation and submission of proposals
* Coordinate the preparation of HPGR test plans subsequently analyse results, prepare final test report and submit it to customers
* Ensure HPGR machine selection specifications portray the appropriate information and design intent through review of available sizing input, calculation of required HPGR size, tyre life time and tyre surface recommendation and simulation of the HPGR product
* Provide ongoing support the Regional Manager during the tendering phase; reviewing datasheets/quotations and support during technical meetings with the clients.
* Completion of onsite process audit to identify improvement opportunities and support our clients with OE and AM
* Support Product Management with regional product feedback and recognizing product opportunities for business development.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
* Degree qualifications in Engineering, Mining, Mineral Processing or Metallurgy, or related fields.
* Proven experience in process engineering within the mining or minerals processing industry.
* Operational exposure in minerals processing plant environment.
* Exposure to operational improvement and optimization.

Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 + Superannuation
