Pace has been afforded the opportunity to partner with our valued client to connect a suitably experienced Factory Tester and Field Engineer to carry out specialised commissioning, servicing, assembly, and testing of DC Chargers and Commercial and Industrial (C&I) scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), both in factory and onsite.SCOPE Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the ideal candidate should demonstrate strong technical skills in electrical circuits and safety procedures, combined with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues both on-site and in a factory setting.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for the commissioning and maintenance of DC chargers and C&I BESS systems at client sites; Provide routine service checks and perform diagnostic assessments to ensure optimal functionality of the systems; Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to DC chargers and BESS, both in factory and on-site; Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex issues and implement solutions in real time; Perform assembly and testing of DC chargers and C&I BESS at the factory to ensure product reliability and performance; Conduct comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to identify and rectify potential issues before shipment; Test and troubleshoot battery packs for faults or performance issues in line with established quality standards; Provide timely and accurate reporting on job statuses, completed tasks, and issues encountered during field operations.SUCCESS PROFILE Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical engineering, field servicing, and/or testing of energy storage systems (or similar electrical equipment); and Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field; and Hold a full, valid driving license with the capability to drive independently to various work sites; Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and experience working with electrical equipment; Familiarity with electrical safety procedures and general work standards; Proven experience in handling complex testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tasks related to DC chargers and BESS ; Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documents; Willingness to work on-site and adapt to varying time requirements, including potential evening or weekend work; If you are interested and fulfill the above criteria, I encourage you to click the 'Apply Now' icon below or alternatively contact Nyssa on 0457 000 296 to discuss further.**Please note that only those that meet the above criteria in its entirety and are an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen will be contacted to commence the recruitment and selection process entailing Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Testing and Reference Checks.**
