The role - your duties will include:
Oversee daily operations of the Property Management department; Monitor the performance of property portfolios (vacancy rates, arrears, maintenance issues, etc.); Implement operational strategies to ensure properties are compliant with NSW regulations; Conduct regular team meetings to discuss overall portfolio management, challenges, goals etc; Drive department growth with recruitment and onboarding; Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to team members; Team management including monitoring key performance indicators and expectations; Monitor, analyse and adopt new market trends to enhance efficiency and team performance; Implement company policies and procedures; Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors and key stakeholders to generate leads and foster long-term partnerships; End to End Solutions of your growth portfolio; New Business Development; Stay across trust accounting and invoicing for mid/end of month; Attending tribunal; and Negotiating and understanding the long term consequences of daily PM decisions. The candidate - to succeed in this role you'll have:
Proven experience in property management, with a focus on business development and portfolio growth; A strong understanding of property management principles, landlord-tenant laws, and industry regulations; Trust accounting experience; Excellent people skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members; Experience and a desire to develop systems and processes to contribute to team success; The ability to lead a team; High levels of professionalism; The ability to manage and prioritise your time; and Intermediate computer and digital literacy on a range of PM software platforms.
