Reporting to the Group Self-Insurance Manager, this role offers the opportunity to thrive and expand your skills within a high-performing, close-knit team based at our Underdale office.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end injury and claims management functions for workers compensation claims for Programmed employees.
This a Full-time position, with the potential for being Part-Time (4 days a week) for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities Assessing Workers Compensation claims and supporting the Return-to-Work process Collaborating closely with employees and key stakeholders, including Branch, State, and General Managers Ensuring employee claims for compensation are assessed within statutory timeframes and accompanied with the appropriate medical, circumstantial and wages information Communicating claim outcomes to employees and providing necessary updates Escalating matters when required and working closely with HR to resolve them Maintaining accurate and confidential work injury claims files in accordance with agreed case management principles Developing and implementing recovery and return to work plans for claims with an incapacity exceeding 4 weeks About You To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Case Management across Worker's Compensation and Return to Work processes, unwavering motivation for delivery, and a natural aptitude for first-class stakeholder engagement.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following: Experience in a workers compensation setting - eligibility, RTW or claims management Return To Work Coordinator Certificate Comprehensive understanding of Return-to-Work Act 2014 and knowledge of the RTWSA Code of Conduct for Self-Insured Employers Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Current Driver's License Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management and Medical Terminology Course (not essential) About Us Programmed is a leading provider of operations and maintenance services across all industry sectors including education, health, infrastructure, manufacturing, transport and mining in Australia and New Zealand.
