Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Coordinator to manage their Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team within the modular and prefabricated homes industry. This role is crucial in ensuring safety compliance, maintaining records, and promoting a culture of workplace safety.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update safety policies, procedures, and records in alignment with regulatory and industry standards.Assist in coordinating safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions for employees and subcontractors.Support incident reporting, investigations, and follow-ups to ensure corrective actions are implemented.Track workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to safety protocols.Prepare and submit HSE reports, permits, and other documentation as required.Monitor PPE compliance and maintain inventory of safety gear.Act as a key liaison between site teams, management, and regulatory bodies regarding HSE matters.Help foster a workplace environment that prioritizes safety and compliance.RequirementsExperience in modular, prefabricated, residential or construction industries (preferred).Previous experience in Health & Safety or a related role.Knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local HSE regulations.Strong organisational and documentation skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HSE management systems.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
