About the Role: Our client is looking for a Structural Engineering Intern who can assist in the design and analysis of structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Roles and Responsibilities: Conducting structural calculations and analyses to ensure that structures meet safety and design standards. Creating and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Performing site inspections and field measurements to assess existing structures and identify potential issues or problems. Assisting in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates. Collaborating with other team members, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges. Keeping up to date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to structural engineering. Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget. Conducting research to inform design decisions and support the development of new structural engineering techniques. Participating in professional development activities, such as attending conferences or workshops, to enhance your knowledge and skills. Requirements: Must be a senior enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program, majoring in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, and other related fields. Familiarity with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
