The Role: Laboratory Technician - Processing Metallurgy Team
This is an opportunity to join our team as a Laboratory Technician in the Processing Metallurgy team.
* Maintain a work-life balance with FIFO 8:6 roster at Prominent Hill.
* Commit to safety, health, community and environmental responsibility.
* Analyze samples according to established procedures.
* Enter data and report results to relevant parties along with recommended corrective actions.
* Perform equipment and instrument calibrations.
* Review established procedures and suggest improvements.
* Resolve quality issues within shift.
* Manage laboratory consumables stock and store samples.
About You
You will be committed to making a positive difference in the health and safety of others, enjoy working outdoors independently and be comfortable undertaking physically demanding activities.
* Hold a minimum 'C' Class Driver's licence; high risk / forklift licence is desirable.
* Have experience working in a mining environment.
* Have experience working in a laboratory environment.
* Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety through prior experience.
