Talent International is searching for an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Support to join our client, a leading mining services company. This role is based in South Brisbane on a permanent basis .
About the role:
The focus of this role will be to make the business better, smarter and faster by implementing new business systems that modernise the business function and deliver value back to our People.
The role is responsible for the successful implementation (people, process and software) of new HR systems and their standardisation across global operating regions including reporting progress against the client implementation maturity matrix on a regular basis.
A component of the role will also be to discover, investigate and test to assess and validate potential new systems with a focus on improvements that harness the power of people and technology to simplify our systems and processes and deliver impact to the business.
You will participate in the development of business cases that recommend investment.
You will assist in assessing the return on investment for initiatives and ensure that work is completed on time, fit for purpose, according to budget, meets stakeholder requirements, and is of a high standard.
You will support the integration of continuous improvement into planning and budgeting processes and assist with reporting requirements.
Requirements:
1. Tertiary qualification in computer science or similar
2. Experience in enterprise level HRIS implementation, Oracle HCM is preferred
3. Experience in payroll systems
4. Awareness around the principals of lean and streams of waste
5. Experience in the preparation of business cases that support the approvals for new investments
6. Exposure to the mining, construction, and /or engineering industries desirable.
7. Must have operational experience with HR systems, including HRIS
8. Must be able to evaluate available software and applications to determine how they can enhance existing business operations.
9. Excellent communication, and ability to operate at all levels of the business, different cultures and dispersed delivery teams
10. Ability to analyse data to extract key information
11. Ability to develop process maps
12. Demonstrate a growth mindset, genuine care for others, a can-do attitude and being comfortable with change
