Job Description Develop and execute strategies to grow market share and profitability for a key product category in Australia and New Zealand. Build and maintain strong relationships with major clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for growth. Lead a sales team of 3, setting clear goals and providing support to achieve outstanding performance. Manage product pricing, inventory, and financial targets, with full accountability for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the category. Manage risks related to stock, purchasing, and sales, ensuring alignment with daily commodity price movements and market trends. Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and customer demands to inform strategic decisions. Provide regular updates on performance, P&L, and key metrics to senior leadership. The Successful Applicant A minimum of 7-10 years of sales management experience in the food ingredients/agribusiness/chemical industry, ideally with exposure to commodity or niche product categories. Proven leadership and team management skills with experience guiding high-performing teams. A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain client relationships. Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends effectively. Proficiency in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strategic thinking paired with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. A customer-focused attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Willingness and ability to travel nationally as required. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is essential.
