Responsibilities:
1. Building an uber robust monitoring platform back by well defined SLOs
2. Create sustainable services and processes through automation. Automate Everything!!!
3. Operate and run production environments by monitoring availability and uptime
4. Collaborate with the development team in design, infrastructure and capacity management
5. Work with open-source technologies as needed
6. Work with CI/CD tools, and source control to include GIT and GitLab
Requirements:
7. At least 5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience
8. Programming experience in Python, Scala, GoLang, JavaScript, NodeJS or Shell scripting
9. Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
10. Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux/Unix administration
11. Strong experience with networking fundamentals
12. Experience working with distributed software
13. Familiarity with infrastructure management concepts
14. The ability to take ownership and see initiatives through
15. Experience working in an agile development environment
16. Exceptional communication skills and ability to explain technical systems with team and management
17. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
Potential skills:
18. Previous experience in a blameless SRE environment
19. Experience in software development and infrastructure development
20. FinTech industry exposure
21. Cryptocurrency knowledge
