This role will be based out of Hyde Park supporting our Mater Mothers Unit.
Work hours between 7am and 3:30 pm Monday & Tuesday, with further leave coverage opportunities available.
The Patient Services team captures, tracks and reports all patient data from pre-admission to discharge aligned with health information standards, health fund and public patient revenue regulations.
This information is analysed and reported to stakeholders to guide the utilisation and efficiency of our hospital services and supports business development decisions with recommendations for process improvement and revenue maximisation.
As the Ward Clerk / Receptionist you will work within an interdisciplinary team environment and is responsible for the efficient, accurate and timely provision of a range of administrative services.
Tasks may include but are not limited to; patient admission, discharges and transfers; medical record preparation, tracking, filing and maintenance; assisting with patient billing; wayfinding and general enquiries.
About you To be successful in this role you will possess:
