Government - State (Government & Defence) As the Principal Advisor, Privacy you will work with limited supervision as part of the Right to Information and Privacy team in the Business and Corporate Services directorate to ensure the Office of Industrial Relations (OIR) meets its Information Privacy Act 2009 obligations.Key Responsibilities Include: Lead the development and implementation of OIR's privacy management plan, privacy and mandatory data breach scheme policies and procedures.Manage and lead investigations and responses to privacy complaints and privacy breaches. Prepare written responses and reports relating to the management of personal information.Lead the development, implementation and delivery of training packages and tailored face to face training in information privacy compliance across OIR.Provide support and advice on business initiatives and projects from a privacy perspective, in relation to new or existing projects and initiatives that handle personal information and provide assistance/training to other business units in conducting Privacy Impact Assessments.Engage with key internal and external stakeholders and represent the department by establishing strategic relationships with other state and local government agencies, including the Office of the Information Commissioner.Exercise decision making authority under the RTI and IP Acts for sensitive and 'Of Note' requests, including undertaking Internal Reviews and preparing submissions relating to external review applications.Applications to remain current for 12 months. #J-18808-Ljbffr
