Hannah’s House supports children and their families to live their best quality of life by providing quality care and support from diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement and beyond.
We offer a range of services and support including our School Program. Our School Program is dedicated to ensuring that every child with complex needs thrives in their educational environment. We collaborate closely with schools and families to conduct personalised health assessments, allowing us to create individualised care plans tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Description
Due to growth, we are searching for passionate and committed Registered Nurses to work within our School Environment commencing in February 2025. Interviews will commence in December and an Induction day will be held in January ready for February start. We are looking for Registered Nurses in our North East Zone in both Joondalup and Kalamunda and South Zone in Piara Waters and whose values align with ours:

Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Ensure that families, managers, support staff and all other relevant stakeholders are informed of and involved in the planning and implementation of interventions to achieve an effective overall health outcome for children and families.
Develop and extends own professional knowledge and is aware of current trends and developments in clinical practice through professional networking, self-directed study and attendance at relevant training events.
Act as a consultant through the provision of expert advice and information to families and staff as appropriate.
Understands and operate under the structure, policy, and philosophy of Hannah’s House to ensure that services are provided in a transparent, consistent, and value-adding manner.

Essential Selection Criteria
Bachelor of Nursing or recognised equivalent
Current Registered Nurse with APHRA
Paediatric experience
Demonstrated Continuing Professional Development
PEG
Tracheostomy
CVAD
Mandatory Requirements
If your application is successful, then Hannah's House will require a number of documents to ensure compliance, including a National Police Clearance.
