What are you going to doThis leadership role is critical to driving value through strategic contract management, robust procurement processes and optimised logistics to support the Company's Offshore Oil & Gas Operations.Develop and implement Commercial strategies that align with organisational objectives and operational prioritiesOversee the Contracts, Procurement and Logistics Teams ensuring seamless integration and delivery of servicesProvide strategic advice to senior management on commercial risks, opportunities and market trendsLead the negotiation, drafting and management of high-value contracts with suppliers, contractors and service providersEnsure contract compliance, performance monitoring, and resolution of disputesOptimise contract terms to maximise value, mitigate risks and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirementsOversee procurement activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines, cost objectives, and quality standardsDevelop and implement sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and build strong supplier relationshipsMonitor procurement budgets and track savings and expenditure against targetsManage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing and inventory management to support Offshore OperationsEnsure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, materials, and equipment to operational sitesOptimise logistics networks to minimise costs and lead times while adhering to safety and environmental standardsEnsure all activities comply with local and international laws, industry regulations and Company PoliciesPrepare regular reports on commercial performance, key metrics and improvement initiatives for Senior Management and stakeholdersConduct audits and risk assessmentsEssential skills and knowledgeRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related fieldPost graduate - MBA or Masters in Commercial Management - will be well receivedExtensive experience in Contracts, Procurement, and / or Logistics within the Oil & Gas sectorProven leadership experience in a similar role, preferably in Offshore Operations or Western Australia's Resources sectorStrong negotiation and contract management expertise, particularly in high-value and complex agreementsProficient in utilising procurement systems and supply chain optimisationExceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skillsDeep understanding of logistics requirements in Offshore Oil & Gas including safety and environmental considerationsAnalytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvementExperience in managing complex negotiations and mitigating commercial risksBenefitsExcellent negotiable base salaryAdditional super contributionsBonus and benefits#J-18808-Ljbffr
