Rewan Station is situated 81km’s outside of Rolleston, near the beautiful Carnarvon Gorge. The property operates as a Wagyu backgrounding unit, supplying cattle into the Aronui and Goonoo feedlots.

Job Description
As a Home Tutor, you'll play a vital role in shaping young minds, providing educational support, and guiding children through their Home School Program in a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Beyond the classroom, you'll also take on a variety of general station duties, contributing to the smooth running of daily operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact while embracing the adventure of station life!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communicating and working with parents, and completing proof of learning scrapbooks for each child
2. Establishing a clear and confidential line of communication with the parents.
3. Keeping a neat and orderly school room.
4. Ensuring schoolwork is posted or emailed back to the relevant teacher.
5. Occasional domestic duties including making up of guest rooms and gardening jobs as needed.
6. Occasional relief cooking for the station, this would be on weekends and during school holidays as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Demonstrated competency in all tasks reasonably required of a Home Tutor
2. Mature and rational approach to problem-solving
3. Certificate of Education or equivalent (preferred) and at least 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
4. Current Drivers Licence
5. Working with Children Check (Blue Card, QLD or Orchid Card, NT)
6. Experience with caring for children
7. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
8. Resourceful approach with the ability to understand a child’s learning needs
9. Self-Contained Accommodation
