What you’ll do
Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, this role plays a crucial part in supporting the Heads of Sourcing and Head of Governance, Risk & Technology to ensure a cohesive approach to sourcing reporting, risk identification and Business growth opportunities.
7. Use Data trends and analytical skills to identify current and future trends & processes that may present risks or opportunities for improvement to the Business.
8. Engage and communicate with all stakeholders with differing interests and priorities. Adapt style and influencing skills to work effectively and collaboratively.
9. Develop and articulate where the Group and each business is heading strategically, and how the Sourcing function can support through relevant strategies.
10. Manage and maintain large amounts of data at pace to support the broader team
11. Be highly commercial and analytical, creative and resourceful with a drive for results and excellent partnering skills providing the capacity to influence and ultimately drive outcomes
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Sourcing Analyst with a strong data driven background, inquisitiveness, and attention to detail.
12. Previous experience in a senior level analytical role within FMCG or Retail, proficient with PPV (Purchase Price Variance reporting)
13. Demonstrated experience delivering sourcing strategy with the ability to identify and implement truly cross-functional solutions.
14. Experience in identifying trends and key financial risks, in order to assess the risks and opportunities for Woolworths and assist in the development of COGS initiatives
15. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong data visualisation and communication skills (both written & verbal) - ability to translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative.
16. Able to prioritise, work under pressure, meet deadlines and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders through effective work planning & structured communication
