We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Admin and IT Coordinator to join our team. This role combines administrative, IT, and site management responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Administrative and Reception DutiesGreet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.Manage appointment scheduling and patient records using practice management software.Handle phone and email inquiries promptly and efficiently.Process Medicare, private billing, and other payments.Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming. 2. IT Support and MaintenanceProvide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.Liaise with external IT service providers for advanced technical support.Ensure all IT systems, including telehealth platforms and electronic medical records, are functioning optimally.Perform regular data backups and ensure compliance with data security protocols. 3. Management DutiesOversee day-to-day operations at the medical centre.Coordinate staff rosters and ensure adequate coverage.Assist with onboarding and training new team members.Ensure compliance with workplace policies and procedures.Manage stock levels for office and medical supplies and place orders as needed. 4. General DutiesCollaborate with the management team to implement process improvements.Provide reports on administrative and IT activities as required.Act as the first point of contact for any onsite operational issues. Key Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.Proficiency in practice management software (e.g., Best Practice, Medical Director) and basic IT systems.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Understanding of Medicare billing processes and privacy regulations is an advantage.
