Award/Classification: Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 5 $96,584 to 101,313 per annum Employment type: Permanent, full-time Region: South Contribute to the development of the Department's budget and assist in the formulation and monitoring of budgets and resources at divisional, sectional, and budget centre levels. Assist in the provision of advice to departmental management and budget centre managers on financial and budget planning issues. Maintain systems, prepare periodic reports and undertake briefings on budget performance and status. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated analyst to join our Budget and Resources team. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial management for the Department through financial and budget management consultancy services. Using your communication, research, analytical, and evaluation skills, you will support informed reporting and internal decision-making processes. This will include: Budget and financial monitoring and reporting A focus on the whole of Agency budget development including schools Budget management and planning issues Providing high-quality client services to business units and schools The role may also make valuable contributions to policy and procedure development, fund management, and information systems within a state government context. To be successful, you will have experience in a similar role with a focus on budget management, financial planning, and contemporary reporting. Period of Appointment: Ongoing - ASAP Start Date Hours per fortnight: 73.5 hours per fortnight The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered.
