They seek to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Area Sales Manager who can drive the business at the end user and reseller level to achieve Business, Sales and Market Development goals.
In line with the national marketing plan and with guidance from the National Sales Manager / Managing Director or their nominated delegate, the Territory Manager/Agronomist should: • Develop a strategic sales plan for the territory which focusses on retaining key customers, identifying new market opportunities and expanding sales opportunities in these markets.
• Be responsible for promoting the brand and its product portfolio in the sales territory.
• Develop relationships with key influencers including growers, consultants, retailers and agronomists.
• Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
• Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in our products.
• Coordinate efficient use of company resources to implement the territory sales plan.
• Interpret short- and long-term effects of sales strategies in operating profit.
• Prepare reports and market statistics, provide marketing intelligence to the marketing team.
• Develop and maintain customer relations – internal and external.
• Ensure effective cross function with other departments.
