Your New Role
In this 12-month contract, you will be involved in a large-scale project aimed at integrating our systems into the future operating model of our investments business.
* You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple business units to understand their needs, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective solutions.
* You will be at the forefront of problem-solving, data analysis, and process enhancement, ensuring that projects align with and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Gathering and defining business requirements, conducting research and analysis as required.
2. Analysing current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
3. Working with stakeholders to prioritise requirements and identify critical path items.
4. Developing as-is and to-be process maps relating to the superannuation and managed funds business.
5. Analysing workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement.
6. Overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system enhancements are efficient, functional, and user-friendly, in collaboration with the business and project team.
7. Working as a crucial component of a project team responsible for enhancing existing business processes/systems or developing new systems and processes.
8. Serving as a liaison between business users and development teams, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in similar roles, preferably in financial services.
* 3+ years of experience in investments, superannuation, custody, unit pricing, or fund administration.
* Strong technical specification writing/documentation skills, including requirements gathering.
* Sound knowledge of the challenges and regulations impacting the superannuation and investments environment.
* Familiarity with business analysis tools and software.
* Relevant tertiary qualification(s).
