As the company continues to grow and flourish, VH Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the company's growing and dynamic team in the role of Sales Coordinator. This position offers tremendous opportunity for growth and will directly impact the overall growth of the company. Experience in global manufacturing, wholesale, sales, buyer assistant, along with a passion for design is a plus but not necessary.
Please note: This is an in-person position and the ideal candidate must reside in Australia and be able to commute to our office in South Melbourne, Victoria. The Sales Coordinator Role will assist the Regional Manager and account managers. They will be tasked with supporting new and existing accounts to secure orders, re-orders and provide detailed customer service. The Sales Coordinator will conduct market research to understand trends and identify and respond to customers' needs.
Job Responsibilities Complete customer service requests Conduct market research and help to develop and present product decks to existing and potential customers. Assist with order execution from start to finish – (development and product offering to buyers, produce product specification photo offers, secure orders, coordinate and follow through on production, track invoicing and follow up with buyers post-delivery) Assist Account Managers with product development/order fulfillment through customer's EDI portals. Create and maintain product online information for certain customers. Assist with planning, designing & executing all aspects of annual trade shows, booking appointments and securing meetings with buyers. Provide presentation and document compilation support. Maintain office and office supplies. Qualifications & Position Goals Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) to perform all aspects of role (manage calendars, travel, presentation, accounts, orders, fulfillment, payment) Excellent communication skills within all levels of the company Strong ability to take initiative when working alone as well as being a team player Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite experience preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time constraints and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel for sales meetings both domestically and internationally. Experience in the furniture and housewares industry is preferred but not required. Seniority level Entry level
