Project Overview:The Project includes the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of 3 new bucket-wheel reclaimers including associated structural, mechanical, electrical and communications services. The Project also includes the design and construction of associated off-board scope including bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure, structural works and electrical upgrades to support the functionally safe operation of the new reclaimers. Job Summary:As Material Coordinator – Laydown/Warehouse, you will provide expertise, advice, and direction for project and field materials management and inventory activities to ensure the overall organizational effectiveness. You will develop and direct implementation of overall project material management plan to include project material procedures, facility needs, personnel requirements, inventory stock levels, detailed material management systems (manual or automated). This role will be in the Pilbara at the site office, with roster 2/1. Major Responsibilities: Implements Materials Management Plan and Field Procurement Plan with respect to applicable commodity groups within area of responsibility. The receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control (manual and/or automated), and issue of materials and equipment. Ensures documentation to record unsatisfactory over, short, and damage conditions of material received; ensures that corrective action is expeditiously completed and that formal Unsatisfactory, Over, Short & Damaged Reports are prepared for permanent record. Reviews purchase order receiving documentation including commercial invoices. Reviews packing lists and bills of lading for completeness and accuracy. Reviews material receiving reports for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the construction equipment register. Other responsibilities as designated. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Related technical training preferred. Required Knowledge and Skills: Supply chain knowledge including warehouse, inventory and materials management. Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and parts. Knowledge in receiving documentation paperwork requirements. Computer skills, Microsoft office suite, PowerApps. Knowledge of procurement operations related to the management of materials at area, regional, temporary and jobsite location. Skills necessary to fill clerical, warehouse craft, and warehouse supervision positions. Knowledge of work packaging, and materials status reporting. Good knowledge of material storage and handling materials in a fast-paced environment with limited indoor storage. Basic knowledge of Field Procuring goods and services for major projects.
