What are you going to doJob DescriptionAs a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer at Brunel PNG, you will be responsible for
Maintaining Temporary Repair registers and ensures plans are in place to execute permanent repairs
Develops Risk Based Inspection Strategies
Develops repair scopes for pressure vessels, and or provides guidance and advice to other engineers for to develop repair scope
Responsible for the development of integrity management and inspection strategies for pressure systems, pipelines and tanks
Responsible for the review, assessment and update of integrity management and inspection data for pressure systems, pipelines and tanks
Provide effective technical advice to the inspectors and engineers, ensuring threats are evaluated, procedures are followed, and work is completed in accordance with the company technical procedures
Organises and or conducts Fitness for service assessments for piping, tanks and pressure vessels
Ensure that any actions arising from inspection activities are fully reported and communicated with the maintenance superintendents, reliability superintendents and maintenance and reliability engineers
Perform effective review of inspection data, results trending and remnant life assessments, perform fitness-for-service assessments and provide recommendations for repair and replacement methodologies
Perform root cause analysis and failure investigation on systems and equipment, as required
Essential skills and knowledgeThe ideal candidate will have
A degree in engineering or a related field
At least 5 years' experience in asset integrity management, preferably in the mining space
Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
Experience in risk assessments and the development of asset integrity management plans
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
