Job Summary: This is a Hybrid Role
The IT Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving the company's IT infrastructure, troubleshooting computer issues for internal employees, and implementing new IT solutions to optimize internal operations.
This role involves providing technical support, managing network infrastructure, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT systems.
Additionally, the IT Support Engineer will handle project management, application support, and travel to various club locations as needed.
Some tasks may require you to work after hours, weekends or on holidays.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and users, both in person and remotely.
Consult with IT managers and other departments as required.
Resolve issues in a timely manner.System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure efficient operation.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including repairing or replacing parts as necessary.Installation and Configuration: Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.User Management: Set up accounts for new users and manage existing accounts.Security: Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.Documentation: Maintain records of software licenses and manage stocks of equipment, consumables, and other supplies.Training: Train end-users on how to set up and use new technologies, including hardware functionality and software programs.System Audits: Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with IT standards and policies.
Monitor hardware, software, and system performance metrics.Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Application Support: Provide support for various software applications used within the organization, including troubleshooting and user training.Vendor Management: Partner with third-party vendors to resolve infrastructure and system issues.Travel: Travel to various club locations to provide on-site support and ensure IT systems are functioning properly.Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.Experience: 10+ years proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.Industry Experience: Experience supporting hospitality, country club, or golf course operations.Competencies:Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.Project management skills and experience.Application support experience.Experience partnering with 3rd party service providers.Experience using ERP systems.Preferred Qualifications: Certifications:Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).Experience: Experience with network management, cloud services, and project management.Typical Working Conditions:Work is performed in an indoor setting with a moderate noise level in the work environment.Benefits:We offer a comprehensive benefits program to include medical, dental, vision, other voluntary products, Flexible Spending Account, Health Savings Account, Paid Time Off, Paid Company Holidays, 401(k) Retirement & Savings Plan, and Playing Privileges.Compensation:We provide a competitive compensation package tailored to qualifications, skills, and experience.Please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration to join our team!
