About the OpportunityThe Cloud Transition Manager is relied upon to develop and lead the technical requirements required for migrating customers to the Managed Cloud and SaaS platforms. Cloud Transition Managers at Ellucian are critical in establishing customer relationships with the Ellucian SaaS environments. You will be the primary technical point of contact responsible for a customer's transition into SaaS by following a very specific project and customer management methodology. As the initial influencer of the Cloud customer relationship, you will represent seamless internal team coordination to maintain confidence in delivery of services and ensure project success. Where you will make an impact: Represent the Cloud Ops organization by participating in pre-sales planning and sales-to-delivery to support environment provisioning and project resourcing requirements. Support the sales and services teams by contributing to project scopes of work to include the most relevant service descriptions and delivery timelines. Lead cross functional project calls with customers, vendors, and internal working groups to manage technical priorities across multiple projects. Provide project updates to cross organization leadership teams for project health monitoring and forecasting. Responsible for scheduling and coordination of technical resources and activities as part of the project life cycle. Lead technical requirements gathering calls to support the development of project tasks. Adhere to Cloud ITSM and security standards. Communicate and socialize Cloud standards and service offerings to customers to prepare them for life in the Cloud. Coordinate the evaluation of new service offerings across various teams. Collaborate with services team members in the development of an integrated project plan (IPP). Provide leadership and coordination for major milestone events such as data refreshes and go-live events. Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks; manage project issues and escalations to resolution. What you will bring: Prior leadership of complex information and business systems projects and operations. Ability to communicate complicated technical concepts to non-technical audiences and communicate non-technical and/or function requirements to technical resources. 7+ years of proven professional and technical industry experience. Multiple years of experience with ERP or complex distributed application environments. Leadership and management skills; self-directed; requires minimal supervision and oversight, analytical and technical problem-solving. Superior verbal and written skills, excellent customer service, as well as high attention to detail. NOTE: A key requirement for this role is the availability to work on weekends (up to two weekends in a month -1 day per weekend either Saturday/Sunday). This is typically required to accommodate project go-lives and ad-hoc testing for clients. Where the CTM is required to work on a weekend, time off in lieu will be offered in compensation, ensuring a balanced and flexible work schedule.
