Chief Operating Officer Group | Procurement Property & Contracts | CAS Assurance & Strategy | Regional Directors
The Procurement, Property and Contacts Division provides strategic direction and support to the Portfolio procurement function to drive effective, efficient and value-add procurement planning, sourcing and contract management aligned with the organisation's strategic priorities and business needs. The Division works across the Department, providing guidance and assurance so accountable stewards maintain effective control systems so the staff understands and fulfils legislated and other obligations. The Division is responsible for the implementation of common administrative services across the portfolio, facilities management and managing the current and future accommodation of ACT based
staff. The Division supports Regional Directors through a cohort of Directors Corporate Shared Services who work within the region supporting both the region and the Corporate Services teams.

Duties and responsibilities
Support the RD and other local senior management to navigate COO Group products and services, and develop whole-of-COO Group responses to enable regional delivery on responsibilities and accountabilities
5. Ensure that local corporate practices are aligned to national initiatives, policy and procedures. Provide pastoral care (if required) and leadership to local COO Group staff including marshalling expertise
6. Display leadership in implementing and promoting the new corporate operating model. Lead change and champion continuous improvement
7. Provide evidence-based advice, reports and key areas of focus to the RD and other local senior management
8. Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate COO Group initiatives at the regional level through the establishment of strong relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
