Student Services and Staffing Administrative CoordinatorFull-time PermanentCloses: 22 November 2024Classification: Administrative Services Officer Class 4Salary: $81,743 - $88,213 plus superannuationPosition No: 46429Directorate: Education Advertised (Gazettal date): 08 November 2024Contact Officer: Jennifer Nott on Jennifer.Nott@ed.act.edu.au or (02) 6142 3166 Details:Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and operational support in the day to day running of the Student Services Section.Work in collaboration with the school executive/leadership team in timetabling and daily staffing.Oversee the student IT experience and Chromebook management and support.Duties:Manage the day-to-day operations and administration of Student ServicesCoordinate and oversee workflow and priorities of the sectionDevelop, implement and maintain processes that contribute to the efficient and effective management of the student services hubOrganise relief staff to cover staff absences, assisting with staff timetablingGeneral IT administrative duties, including Chromebook maintenance and student IT supportSELECTION CRITERIASound knowledge and understanding of the ACT Public Service employment framework, contemporary human resource management policy and practices.Well-developed communication, interpersonal, liaison, negotiation, and representational skills with a commitment to high-quality customer service principles.Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage workloads and competing priorities to meet deadlines.Experience with or ability to learn a range of ICT systems including the ability to create and maintain databases, spreadsheets, etc.Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with relevant legislative and policy principles.Understanding and strong commitment to ACTPS values covering ethical standards, equity and diversity, customer service, participative management, and workplace health and safety.Experience in a school office environment.Knowledge of G Workspace, KRONOS, Sentral, Timetabling Solutions, and Microsoft Office packages.First Aid Qualifications.Level of responsibility/direction and supervision:The Student Services Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Team and will receive direction from the Business Manager/Principal.
