Job Description
Are you ready to take on a physically demanding but rewarding role? Join our team as a Chicken Catcher in Loganholme, QLD, and play a crucial role in our operations.
Our team values hard work, dedication, and a supportive environment. As a Chicken Catcher, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of our chickens.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
* Manually catching chickens
* Loading chickens into moules
* Supporting crew members during the catching process
* Ensuring drawer counts are as per requirements advised by the catching crew leader
* Following all company and safe work procedures
* Complying with relevant Chain of Responsibility (COR) responsibilities
* Communicating with crew members, supervisors, and other relevant site personnel
* Complying with all relevant Animal Welfare Legislation, RSPCA requirements, biosecurity, and other responsibilities
* Completing required paperwork and training mandated by the company
* Following instructions to ensure there is no breach with Chain of Responsibility Obligation
* Adhering to the company Code of Conduct
* Performing other duties as requested by the site supervisor.
