Automation Reliability Engineer Job Description:
Role Overview
As an Automation Reliability Engineer at Primary Connect, you will oversee the management of automation uptime, asset reliability, quality on-time maintenance planning, and spare parts control. This role is responsible for ensuring the continued performance and reliability of automated fulfilment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for managing automation up time, asset reliability, quality on-time maintenance planning and spare parts control.
* Develop, implement, monitor, and improve preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and resource utilisation with minimum downtime and extending lifecycle performance.
* Provide insights into asset failure early warning systems and drive RCA outcomes from prior failures.
* Support the development of asset maintenance plans derived from FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), or similar, and criticality analysis assessment.
* Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to site teams in areas supporting equipment performance and reliability objectives.
* Support the delivery of quality control across all operational areas to meet set expectations.
* Foster true partnership & collaboration with our automation equipment vendor site leadership and operations teams.
Your Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven experience in maintenance / reliability engineering across automated distribution centres, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
* Proven track record of contract and contractor management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams & drive change in a complex & large environment.
* Proficient in computer skills to run Root Cause analysis, create reports, graphs, charts, presentations, training packages.
* Previous experience in lean TPM desirable.
* Proven experience in developing Root Cause Analysis and driving outcomes.
