Our client, a national construction company, is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join them on location in Hobart to be a part of a $130m construction project to commence in January 2025
* Full time hours working across a rostered environment

About You
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a HSE Advisor (or similar role) in the Construction industry.
* Cert IV in Workplace, Health & Safety (or similar)
* Cert IV – Trainer and Assessor (desirable)
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR essential.
* Valid class C licence essential.
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
* The ideal applicant will possess strong leadership and problem solving skills.
* Excellent administration and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
About the Role
* HSE - Achieve the highest Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards possible. Provide leadership and continuous improvement on employee and contractor attitudes towards safety. Strive to eliminate injuries and incidents on the project.
* Program - Ensure adequate time is allowed in the program for safe work practices.
* Quality and Systems - Successfully implement the Company’s Management Systems, Project Management Plans, and initiatives.
* Human Resources - Show leadership in safety culture.
* Subcontractor Management - Ensure subcontractors complete their works with a focus on HSE.
* Client Relations - Tangibly demonstrate the company’s safety culture and performance to the client’s onsite representative where applicable.
