We are looking for a motivated Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team at our soon-to-be-relaunched boutique hotel property located at 62 Byng Street, Orange. This is your chance to be part of the foundation team as the hotel reopens on Monday 2 December, 2024.
Role Overview
The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process as well as responding to guest requests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner. The Front Office Receptionist is also an ambassador for the region we operate within, providing town and tourism experiential highlights information for guests.
Key Responsibilities
Operational
1. Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and out, and provide information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions.
2. Handle phone and online reservations, ensuring accurate and timely booking of rooms.
3. Maintain guest records, process payments, and manage the front desk’s daily operations.
4. Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
5. Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests and any issues are resolved quickly.
6. Monitor guest access and maintain the security of the front desk area.
Guests
1. In collaboration with the General Manager and Team Members, implement strategies to enhance guest service standards which meet/exceed the expectations of guests.
2. Interact with guests to gather feedback and ensure their stay experience exceeds expectations.
