About the role
Our goal to build 'healthier rural people and thriving communities' is the shared responsibility of all involved in care, and the Administration Officer is an integral and valued member of our team.
Casual Administration staff provide support to all Orange Hospital administration units, including Health Information and Community Health.
You will need to be available and committed to cover vacant shifts, sick leave, or general leave cover for day shifts, afternoon shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Completing a range of operational, clerical, and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the facility, you will also assist with more complex tasks or projects and provide relief for other staff as required to support efficiency and quality within the service and team.
Supporting the manager and team with quality improvement activities, you will make decisions and take initiative in relation to day-to-day operational matters, performing according to established work practices and procedures, working under general instruction and broad supervision.
