EXPRESSION OF INTERESTAbout the Role:We are currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to support commissioning activities on a key project over three months.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with solid commissioning experience in mining or heavy industrial environments.8/6 roster$85-95/hr depending on experience.Key Responsibilities:Commissioning and fault-finding of but not limited to:WeightometersMetal detectorsRadar level transmittersMicrowave sensorsUltrasonic level sensorsFlow meters (various types)Conduct I/O checks, calibrations, and integration with control systemsRead and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagramsMaintain accurate commissioning records and reportsWork safely and collaboratively with the broader site teamWhat We're Looking For:Trade-qualified Instrumentation/Electrical TechnicianProven experience in commissioning industrial instrumentationStrong understanding of field devices and industrial protocolsExcellent troubleshooting and communication skillsAble to work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlinesValid Australian Driver's LicenceAble to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screenDesirable:Rio Tinto inducted (advantageous, not essential)Current tickets: CPR/LVRHow to Apply:Submit your resume and relevant tickets/certifications to ******: EOI – Instrumentation & Electrical TechnicianWe thank all applicants for their interest.
