With over 1000 seats of capacity across two levels, overlooking the racecourse and Adelaide Hills, this facility will form the cornerstone for events in the redeveloped Morphettville precinct.Be a part of our legacy!About the opportunityThe hospitality team plays a pivotal role in the operations of events at Morphettville racecourse, and the Food & Beverage Supervisors will work together as a team in assisting in the management of the day-to-day delivery of hospitality services.We have two positions available - one is full-time and one is casual.You will be required to demonstrate your passion for delivering a high standard of customer service and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. With your proven experience in hospitality, you must demonstrate a superior ability to manage timelines, meet deadlines, anticipate requirement of clients, provide excellent customer service, and have the ability and motivation to drive a dynamic hospitality team.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Providing strong leadership to the front of house team with clear and respectful communication, and delivery of the smooth operation of eventsPerforming with your co F&B supervisors in communicating the same information to the team so F&B attendants are clear on the vision, and we are working to a common goalTaking ownership of developing, maintaining, communicating and abiding by SOP’sEnsuring the delivery of high standards of customer serviceConfirming correct number of staffing resources for each event through confirmations, replacing cancelled shifts, ensuring all staff are onsite and briefedCoordinating and managing, in consultation with the F&B operations manager, the roster for all function staff and ensuring the roster is communicated in a timely mannerParticipating in the recruitment, induction, and onboarding of front of house staff in line with Morphettville SOP’sDeveloping the skills of the Hospitality Team Leaders through ongoing training and supportConducting performance reviews with direct reports, team leaders and attendants.Coordinating and facilitating ongoing training of FOH staffTo be successful in this role you will need to have:Proven ability to work as part of a team with a vision of greatnessExperience in leading, training and motivating a teamDemonstrated experience in a range of hospitality environmentsExceptional customer service and customer complaint resolution skillsAbility to think on your feetExperience in developing staff rosters and managing a teamAbility to prioritise and planStrong time management skill and organisational skillsMust hold a current RSA accreditation and willing to obtain an RP badgeSound knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteThe right to work in AustraliaHow to applyIf you believe that you have the skills, experience, and motivation to undertake this role, then please apply by submitting a cover letter and your CV.
