We are looking for a talented security infrastructure engineer to support the design, configuration and maintenance of various security tools. This is an ideal early career role that will involve working with technologies like Splunk and Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudWatch, Microsoft XDR and more.
The successful candidate will advise on design, deploy and configure new solutions, assess existing deployments and client capabilities to make improvements. They will be required to work substantially on client site and obtain a government security clearance at NV1 minimum.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the design and configuration of security tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty and Microsoft XDR.
* Designing and configuring network security devices, routers, switches and VLANs.
* Integrating security tools with identity management solutions.
* Creating cloud hosting and containers, applying security controls and compliance frameworks.
* Developing test procedures to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3+ years of technical expertise and adaptability to new technologies.
* Experience with Cribl and JIRA ITSM work, EC2, S3, docker deployments and Linux administration.
* Ability to communicate insights and concepts clearly, both written and spoken.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including building relationships with stakeholders and maintaining confidentiality.
* A positive attitude, self-motivation and adaptability to rapid changes.
