In this strategic role, you will build and shape the Capital Works division, overseeing upgrade projects across a portfolio of assets in Melbourne and Sydney, with project values ranging from $150k to $3m. Key Responsibilities: Establish and lead the Capital Works division, implementing effective frameworks and processes. Oversee the delivery of upgrade works, fitouts, and CAPEX projects for eight commercial properties, ensuring alignment with asset performance goals. Serve as the key advisor, facilitating clear communication between assets and business representatives. Coordinate capital works to meet critical timelines while optimizing financial performance. Lead the procurement process and manage contracts to ensure high-quality results. Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive strategy tailored to the portfolio. Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial goals. Requirements: 3-10 years in project management, facilities management, or property management focused on capital works. Proven ability to deliver capital projects, particularly within commercial office environments. Strong skills in project costing, budgeting, and financial analysis. Exposure to trade, health & safety (HSE), and contract management; relevant qualifications are a plus. Experience in fitouts and upgrades is essential.
