The Role: Liaise closely with Heads of Department in Allied Health Provide management oversight and coordination of allied health paediatric inpatient and outpatient services across Hospitals North Provide leadership for the allied health team members working in paeds Represent Allied Health North for delegated meetings and projects. Lead and support multidisciplinary Quality Improvement and Research activities Successful applicant will demonstrate: Flexibility to spread work pattern over 4 days Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment The Team: The Allied Health Paediatric team is a large and dynamic team of allied health professionals consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech pathologists, psychologists, and social workers. Services are delivered to both paediatric inpatient and outpatient areas. The team is collocated on site with the Paediatric Outpatient Service and operates in the Luthea Tower at the Launceston General Hospital. As an integral member of our Paediatric multi-disciplinary team, you will play a leading role in safeguarding children and adolescents through delivering contemporary, evidence-informed practice and high-quality patient experiences. You will be looked upon as a clinical mentor and leader by others. Details of appointment: Fixed term part-time, day worker position, working up to 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing from 24 November 2024 until 30 May 2025. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $120,114 to $130,181 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
