We are looking for a Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team. They will be responsible for supply and inventory planning of Life-Space products to achieve sales demand and inventory targets.
Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager this role will coordinate production schedules, manage inventory and supplier relationships, while analyzing supply chain data and support continuous improvement projects to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of Life-Space products.
This is a 5 day, on-site position based at our Head Office in Clayton.
Key outcomes of the role include:
* Coordinate production schedules with contract manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of Life-Space products.
* Address production delays by liaising with internal and external manufacturing teams.
* Revise schedules as per inventory and sales demands.
* Review forecast and plan necessary orders within Kanban Systems.
* Ensure timely dispatch of materials to manufacturers to maintain production timelines.
* Monitor contract manufacturers through regular communication and visits.
* Handle unexpected demand or special situations by escalating promptly when necessary.
* Generate reports from NetSuite, converting data into Excel for inventory and purchase order management.
* Develop, update and document procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Identify and manage slow-moving or obsolete stock and implementing action plans as needed.
* Communicate replenishment dates to Sales teams promptly.
* Support the Supply Manager in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on reducing lead times and enhancing stakeholder relationships.
As the successful candidate, you will require:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in demand and supply planning, supply chain management, vendor management or logistics.
* Experience in FMCG, consumer goods or healthcare industry highly regarded.
* Strong understanding of shelf-life management and scheduling.
* Team player attributes and ability to work cross-functionally.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain positive relationships.
