About the Role In this newly created role, the Employee Relations Advisor will report in matrix to the CPO and Head of People Operations. This role will lead and support the bargaining process for a new Enterprise Agreement and actively provide advice and guidance on industrial and employee relations matters across the organisation.
Key Accountabilities include:• Support the EBA process• Provide authoritative on complex ER matters• Provide expert guidance and support on case management for complex ER / IR issues.• Draft correspondence for stakeholders.• Ensure employment contracts and other relevant employment documentation are compliant.
Review and implement P&C policies, programs and practices.
Identify non-compliance or areas for improvement for escalation to senior management
Skills & Experience • Experience in the negotiation of Enterprise Agreements from preparation to implementation.• 3 to 4 years’ experience in a specialist employee relations role within a complex and large organisation. • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Employment Law, Human Resources Management or another relevant field• Comprehensive understanding of IR frameworks, with experience managing matters across various tribunals and before the Fair Work Commission including representing the organisation and working with external legal Counsel.• Experience in complex case management, coaching colleagues and identifying trends and take proactive action.• Experience in the development and review of various policies and procedures. • Proven experience in change initiatives (including organisational restructures) • Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
