The Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting the financial management and decision-making processes for Revo Fitness.
This role will involve analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to senior management to drive strategic business decisions.
The role is full-time (38 hours per week), flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
There may be occasional travel between Revo Fitness sites, both regionally and interstate.
Key Responsibilities Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Monitoring and analysing costs across various business functions and identifying areas for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.Undertaking ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required, providing insights and recommendations to address specific business challenges or opportunities.Preparing monthly management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial insights to support decision-making.Assisting Department Heads in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts to ensure alignment with strategic goals and operational plans.Developing financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives and drive sustainable growth with Department Heads.Supporting the Finance team with the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analysing financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.Ensuring processes and documents are compliant with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, while proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks.Identifying ways to continuously improve processes to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive efficiency.Qualifications, Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA qualification is essential.Demonstrated experience in management accounting or financial analysis role, preferably within the fitness or retail industry.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Sound knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices.Excellent knowledge of cost accounting, reporting, financial risk analysis, budget management and forecasting.Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular, Excel and PowerBI.Working knowledge of Xero, ApprovalMax and Asset Guru ideal but not essential.Who is Revo?
