We're here to Stride.About the service: Based in Springwood, 'Stride Hub' offers short to medium term mental health support for people between the ages of 18-64 experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges. Working with them, their families and carers, Stride Hub provides person-centred, recovery-oriented support and a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing, including support for physical and social needs.On offer:Based in Springwood, QLDFull-time, fixed term opportunity to mid-August 2025Paying on SCHADs Level 3 plus superSalary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free!)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650!Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards – access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness)Supportive team environment and excellent training and career development opportunitiesRole overview:Provide regular, flexible, low level non-clinical support to clients, working with them to review their needs and resources and monitor activities identified in their client support plansEnable clients to achieve independence as far as possible in all areas of their life by providing appropriate information, opportunity, training and supportRoutinely perform assessments of outcome measures, and other data collectionProvide support (that is sensitive, client focused and community orientated), advocacy and information to clients with the use of the recovery processAttend and participate in Communities of Practice, professional development and Critical incident management activitiesEffectively use systems such as Supportability to self-manage rostered hours, record time attendance and sign-off of client activity, journal entries and case notesRequirements:Minimum of a Cert IV in a Community services related discipline (ideally a completed degree or Diploma)Demonstrated experience, skills and knowledge in working with people experiencing a mental illnessUnderstanding of and ability to apply the principles of a recovery-oriented, person-centered, and strengths-based approaches to service deliveryAbility to implement and facilitate capacity-building activities with participantsWillingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team across a range of organisationsAbility to apply initiative and to work independentlyCurrent driver's licence with a good driving history and a registered, well-maintained vehicle that is available to be used for the purposes of the roleMust be eligible to apply for /currently hold a Blue Card and NDIS worker screening clearance for paid employmentStride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
