We are seeking a Lean, Performance, and Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive operational excellence across our organisation.
As a Lean, Performance, and Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will provide hands-on expertise in Lean practices and offer methodological support to our teams and stakeholders in an industrial setting.
Working at our sites in Benalla and Mulwala - Pangerang and Yorta Yorta land, your role purpose is to:
Focus on identifying and implementing process improvements, using Lean methodologies to optimise business processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs while improving quality.Continuously analyse and identify areas for improvement in various processes, including manufacturing, operations, and customer service.Work closely with Production departments and teams to identify and implement improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collect and analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and determine root causes of problems.Implement Lean practices in alignment with the Thales Australia Lean team recommendations.On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:
Sound knowledge of principal Lean practices underpinned by relevant experience in manufacturing or operational processes.Relevant Tertiary qualification, e.g.
Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.Effective communication at all levels, and coaching abilities to drive sustainable change.Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for working with various teams and stakeholders.Must be eligible for Australian Defence Clearances.As part of our commitment, we offer:
