Eligibility/Other Requirements: To be successful in this position you must have the following: MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS/LICENCING Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. Industry experience Refer to the current CIT Educators enterprise agreement available on CIT website at: cit.edu.au/about/employment DESIRABLE Experience in teaching in an ACT College system within the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) College/School. Knowledge and experience of BSSS policy, ACS, and adherence to BSSS policy and procedures. Experience in coordinating such as AST, moderation, certification, and pastoral care programs. Note: This is a temporary position available 20 January 2025 until 20 July 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
