**Job Description**

Main Responsibilities:
* Mow lawns, cut edges with hand and ride-on mowers, and whipper snippers.
* Prepare and plant garden beds and landscape maintenance.
* Plant trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, and bulbs.
* Remove litter from garden beds and driveways.
* Prune/trim shrubs and plants, remove dead branches and leaves.
* CHECK irrigation system function and report faults or insufficient/excessive watering.
* Fertilise, mulch, and maintain plant health with disease identification and prevention.
* Prepare lawn areas by spreading topsoil, planting grass, and laying turf.
* Draft plans, select materials and plants, and coordinate landscape construction.
* Use spraying equipment for weed, pest, and insect control.
* Operate high-powered hand tools and perform general maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
Essential qualifications include Certificate III in Horticulture or ten years of experience in practical horticulture. We also require a Class C Driver's Licence (manual) and the ability to work under limited supervision. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Desirable qualifications include First Aid, Chainsaw Operator, Construction Induction, and Working with Children certifications.
