Currently seeking for an experienced EL1 Assistant Director Strategy for a casual temporary assignment until end of December 2025. A great opportunity to get involved in leading strategy development, policies, priorities and operational practices as part of a large Federal Government agency. About the role: Gathering and developing structured insights and recommendations for strategic projects. Developing fact based quantitative and qualitative analysis including modelling in Microsoft Excel. Creating materials for senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Minister, Board and Executive Leadership Team to communicate perspectives, recommendations and implications for the Agency. Presenting recommendations and facilitating discussions with a range of Agency stakeholders and senior leadership. Developing action plans and ensuring stakeholder alignment to enable successful implementation. Developing content to embed change, including authorship of policy papers and guidance materials. Collaborating with and supporting business areas to structure problems, inform options and drive solutions and Agency-wide priorities About you: You will have strong analytical skills You will be a good problem solver, and have a strategic mindset You will be flexible, and adaptable to work in a fast-changing environment You will have a good track record of significant contribution to strategic projects that deliver insightful and actionable recommendations You will have experience of working with complex cross-functional teams You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work at all levels across the organisation.
