Our Co-Ops team is a cloud-managed service capability that provides operational support to our customers and adhoc consulting/small project services. Our team is not just a support team but a team of consultants. We support Azure data and Databricks customers only, and we pride ourselves on being technical experts and solving problems at scale.We emphasise the importance of proactivity, innovation, automation and high quality when delivering outcomes for our customers. Providing managed services support to our customers is our key competency, in addition to identifying and developing new Azure data solutions for these customers.We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Consultant to spearhead and further build out our Azure Data Managed Services offering.The role will involve:Previous exposure to Microsoft and Azure Data platforms (ADF, Synapse, Databricks etc.)Building and guiding a team of Azure Data/Databricks support consultantsEstablishing, improving and governing data operations processesAssist with building offerings and collateral for presalesAssist with presales processes and proposing Azure data services that meet customer needsPerforming Azure Data Managed Services tasks in alignment with ITIL and DevOpsProviding consulting services to customers on adhoc consulting engagementsBuilding new and enhancing existing Data solutions for customersOur ideal candidate will be comfortable providing after-hours / on-call support (for high-priority incidents only) on a rotating weekly roster. In the event you are called upon outside of hours, extra remuneration will be provided (in addition to our excellent salary and benefits package).Our ideal person will have:Previous exposure to Microsoft and Azure Data platforms (ADF, Synapse, Databricks etc.)Working knowledge of PySpark, Python, SparkSQL, or T-SQLExperience in supporting, developing, and delivering data modelsFamiliarity with DevOps practices, release pipelines, branching strategies, and Git.
